Saturday, October 6

The committee has decided on an
architect, Mike Killeen of St. Louis.

We are waiting the Bishop's attorney,
and then the bishop will sign the architect's contract. The architect will
be in town for a few days to work
on the designing consultation with
the students and the committee.
Please pray for the entire process
and that we may begin construction before the winter weather
sets in.

Saturday, October 13

The architect came to Newman this week for an open house. He listened to the thoughts and ideas of the students and community and has tried to incorporate as many of those ideas into the new building designs. The final plans have been drawn up and are now available for viewing at the Newman Center. All are welcome to stop by and have a look.

The next stage of plans is to talk to the contractor and see what designs for the new building will be possible and within budget.

Thursday, January 2008
