Salt and Light

We're a Catholic Christian coed fellowship group at Truman State University. We gather every week to discuss issues about the Catholic Church, to deepen our faith, and to strengthen our relationship with God. Anybody and Everybody is welcome to join us in our journey to be the Salt of the Earth and the Light of the World. "You are the salt of the earth. But if salt loses its taste, with what can it be seasoned? It is no longer good for anything but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot. You are the light of the world. A city set on a mountain cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and then put it under a bushel basket; it is set on a lampstand, where it gives light to all in the house. Just so, your light must shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your heavenly Father." Matthew 5:13-16 Meetings are held every Tuesday Night from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM in the Blue House found on Davis Street (directly behind BNB and next to the Wesley house--four houses down from the Newman Slab). S&L (Salt and Light) was formerly known as Acts 4:32 and was changed because the coed fellowship has grown and with that growth a new name was necessary.
