Publicity is a committee that makes sure that the Truman population in general, and Truman's Catholics specifically, know all about the things going on at the Newman Center. Publicity makes bulletins, creates a calendar, writes the mass announcements, and advertises on campus (with chalking), as well as on our sign board, for Newman events. Publicity also hosts the Historian and Webmaster. The Historian takes pictures of the events at Newman and compiles a scrapbook at the end of the year. The Webmaster maintains the website. Without Publicity advertising our Newman events, we would be a much smaller Newman community than we are now, and our events would be less vibrant and enjoyable without the new people, as well as the regular crowd, that publicity attracts.
