The Vice President of External Affairs' job is to be an intermediary between the President and the public, be it the Newman community or the community at large. Ginger does this by being a good face for Newman, representing the Newman Community to the Truman campus.

"I oversee outreach, recruiting, and evangelization efforts by the 
Catholic Newman Center and Newman Council.  I serve as a liaison to the 
communities of Mary Immaculate Parish, Truman State University, and 
A.T. Still University.  I coordinate Truman Week and Newman Week 
activities.  I oversee the creation and distribution of the freshman 
newsletter and ensure that Newman is represented on campus at Visit Day 
events."
